When the window is down, pulling up on the AUTO switch causes it to rise, but when it get about 1.5 inches from the closed position, it reverses and starts a downward travel until it get about halfway down, then stops.

There is a fuse box under the hood on the driver's side (with spare fuses in the lid) and another in the driver's side under dash. Both covers have legends on them describing the fuses.
